01Our commitment

Porvio aims to provide an inclusive experience for clinicians, administrators, and website visitors. The design target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is a product goal, not a certification or a claim of complete conformance. Where Ontario’s AODA website rules apply, their legal baseline is assessed separately; choosing WCAG 2.2 as a product target does not change that analysis.

02Measures in the product

  • semantic page regions, headings, labels, lists, and tables;
  • skip links and a visible keyboard focus treatment;
  • keyboard-operable navigation, forms, dialogs, and review actions;
  • text alternatives or hidden treatment for meaningful and decorative icons;
  • status and error announcements for assistive technology;
  • text and control contrast designed for a light clinical interface;
  • reflow for narrower screens and enlarged text; and
  • reduced motion when the operating system requests it.

03Compatibility

Porvio is designed for modern standards-based browsers on desktop and mobile devices and for use with keyboard navigation, browser zoom, screen readers, and operating-system contrast or reduced-motion preferences. A complete browser, device, and screen-reader matrix has not been verified. Browser microphone and recording support varies; audio file upload is available as an alternative where supported.

04Testing and compatibility limits

Porvio has not completed a formal third-party accessibility conformance assessment or disabled-user study. The August 4, 2026 internal review covers source-level semantics and automated regression checks, not end-to-end assistive-technology conformance. Complex authenticated workflows, recording controls, third-party interface components, and combinations of browser and assistive technology may still have defects. Legal and policy documents may also need alternate formats for a particular user.

05Assistance and alternate formats

If a page, control, or document is not usable for you, email support@porvio.app. Describe the information or task you need and the format or accommodation that would help. Do not include patient information, recordings, passwords, or access tokens in the message. Porvio will consult with you about your accessibility needs and provide an available accessible format or communication support in a timely manner and at no additional cost. If information cannot be converted, Porvio will explain why and provide an accessible summary where possible.

If email is not an accessible channel, open the Porvio guide control on this public site and choose Human support, or ask a trusted person to contact Porvio on your behalf. State the accessible follow-up method you need and omit patient or clinical information.

06Accessibility feedback

Helpful reports include:

  • the page address and the control or content involved;
  • what you expected and what happened;
  • your browser, device, and assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing them; and
  • the best accessible way to follow up.

Porvio will review accessibility feedback alongside product and safety work and will prioritize barriers that prevent essential use.

07Assessment and updates

This Statement will be updated as testing is completed, known barriers change, or the product adopts a formal accessibility standard or assessment. Questions can be sent to support@porvio.app.
